THE CONSUMER’S PROMISE!

In this day and age if one statement is true we are often quoted “whatever the consumer wants they get.” To go further if there’s one voice you’ve heard this Administration shout, “The Bowler is the most important piece to TNBA’s Puzzle.”

Therefore we must first have that open ear to listen, adapt, and be willing to change our strategies as the game has. This year’s first demonstration of that commitment to win your respect and trust will be The Inaugural Presidential Summer Shootout, September 3rd & 4th, 2011. How fitting this Scratch and Handicap event will be at the home of our grand daddy of bowling venues, Freeway Lanes. Again where the “Consumers Promise” will regain its pledge, “a shot for everyone and the sports integrity unchallenged. My Promise to you! Bowlers we need your help and support on this event. Lets pack the house….

On another high note I want to thank all our members who attended our 1st Appreciation Day, in Detroit. Wow, what a great time for the entire family. I want to thank (so many to mention) all who participated and gave their time and hard work. The Promise…… at work again. Next year watch out Indy, it’ll be bigger and better.

This year’s attendance at the USBC Convention was a huge success in TNBA’s effort to keep up our exposure in the bowling industry. Not only were we present at Bowl Expo we attended the U.S. Women’s Open. An event hosted at the famous Dallas Cowboys Stadium. The 50 yard line was the site for ESPN’s coverage. Finally I was asked to address the National USBC Convention and some 1,500 members. My message was the progress and partnership USBC, BPAA, and TNBA have accomplished and what lies ahead. I salute President Darlene Baker and (our own) Perry Daniels for all their assistance.

I thank Mrs. Barbara Armstead, Mr. Eric Kearney, and their teams for the effort and support with our junior bowlers and coaches, who will attend this year’s event. The International Training Research Center (ITRC) is a great experience and opportunity for our bowlers to participate in. Another effort towards…. The Promise.

In closing as we prepare for the upcoming season bowlers I encourage your participation in the many TNBA leagues, local tournaments, and our National Regional’s are around the corner. Its game on….

Finally visit our new Website, use it, advertise through it, and promote TNBA with it.

God Bless you and TNBA
