Brandon GrantCongratulations to Mr. Brandon Grant - for earning his very first TNBA sanctioned 800 series award during the popular Tri-Senate tournament last Saturday at Chapparal Lanes, San Dimas.   This marks Brandon's second sanctioned 800 series to date, but is his first during a TNBA sanctioned event.

Since the age of three, Brandon has had a love of the game.   In his early years, he was groomed by his parents, Bunny & Verlan, who were also active in the bowling circuit at the time.   After Verlan passed, his step father Nate Poland became the driving force in accelerating Bandon's game, sending him through juniors at AMF El Dorado, and shaping him into the talent he's known for today.

Brandon is an enormously intense bowler, who always wears a game face (and headphones.)  He's a cranker - with tons of hand.

Unlike some of the other players in the Tri-Senate Tournament Saturday who lost their mental games after seeing a tough score to beat from the first squad,  Grant took the position of never once imagining the score being outside of his reach.  He fully intended to run the leader down and reign as king of the 385 person tournament.  The hot hand damn near made it!

Tied at 14th in the rankings for having the highest average in the tournament, Grant entered the fray throwing a Hammer Black Widow Pearl and with a book average of 223.  His final set was 300, 257, & 244.

Congratulations again on a great set, and welcome to the club!
